Steno Witch

Day 59/200

Didn’t have anything to cover today. Did finger drills and some more of that 9/11 podcast, racked up about 2 hours. Started to get a bit of an ulnar nerve twinge and stopped. Got in the bath at home to fix it. A stenographer should always have a bathtub. o( ̄ー ̄;)ゞ It felt morally bad to not practice hard, honestly. I get a little puritanical. That can’t be healthy. I think when I finish this 200-day streak, I’ll take a weekend off. Full weekend. No exceptions. Covering in a new place tomorrow and hope to feel tip-top.

Haven’t done my Update Area in a while. I know there’s a lot of novel stuff in there that I need to get out into the main dictionary.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve made big changes to my personal theory. I wonder about it.

John and I were just hanging out afterwards and this old song playing in a random pole video was stuck in my head. I asked if he’d play it when he asked me to marry him and he said yes. I said I had nothing planned for asking him to marry me and he said not to worry, he’d take care of it. He sang a little of it on a riff to be silly—and it’s not necessarily a serious song—but it was so lovely that I cried a little.
