Days 82, 83, and 84/200

Day 82/200

More of what I can only call “edi-practicing” or “practediting.” I edit. I take a chunk. I rewrite it. I go back. Tomorrow’s gonna be hectic and I’m p sure my judge saw my screen jUST as I dropped like 6 words for every 3 words so I’m going to bed and maybe I’ll cry a bit 😵‍💫

I forgot the time!

I took two 10 minute chunks each and then some much shorter ones—super fast sentences. So I know it was at least 20 minutes. Bah!!!

Day 83/200

Day 83/200 Had a nice little day of speed practice. 45 minutes on 260 QA and then some 225s, but got frustrated with how inconsistent the speed seemed. And this twinge in my back from leaning over my writer—wish I could easily switch from input to input in Case. But I’m done whining now and shall rest. It felt nice to go fast. 🙂

Day 84/200

18 minutes. One of the CSR 4-voice practice files on my FB group's OneDrive and one of the 230 wpm files on there as well. I feel pretty good about it all.

I think I'm ready to take the RPR again. It's just a question of feeling confident on the day that I take it. By that I more mean that I need to think about what could possibly be a good day to take it and what could be a bad day to take it and to prepare myself mentally. We have back-to-back murder trials scheduled in November, so I'm unsure if that's a good month to do anything!

I've heard test registration used to be waaaay different. Online tests are surely more convenient than having two chances a year to take all three legs at once, but someone told me that the earlier days of online testing were better.

Asked FB group for scheduling advice if they have any.
